This painting was made during the 2023 PleinAirTexas festival in San Angelo, TX. During the event a paint out during a classic car show was scheduled for us to paint if we wanted. I chose to set my easel up in the shade of a nearby wall from the row of cars. From this vantage point only part of one car was visible from behind a fence. The strong triangular shape of the shadow at the foreground became a key part of the painting's idea. I love how the upper left corner glows against the muted majority of the painting. 
 
This painting is currently unvarnished (will be suitable for varnish if desired after April 2024). Will ship wrapped in plastic in a cardboard box.
