Last week I made a bunch of drawings and value studies with graphite, ink, and gouache. Pictured here are a few stages of a wip gouache painting for an upcoming juried show. The theme is Water. I came up with a few concepts before choosing this mysterious brick wall illusion. Lastly I started building canvases for a new body of larger studio paintings - hence the drawings!
