On February 7th I drove to the Wisconsin Dells for an inaugural plein air painting retreat with 20 other Wisconsin artists. Diane Washa coordinated the event with UW-Extension Upham Woods Learning Center. We spent the weekend hanging out and painting in the snow! I made six paintings three were plein air and three were small portraits of artist friends. It was a wonderful experience and I'm grateful to have been part of it. I recorded a few video clips throughout the weekend and uploaded a new YouTube video. Make sure to follow the work of my fellow WI artists whose names are listed in the description of the video.
