Now you can experience a closer look at the paintings I created en plein air (in the open air) in this self published zine! The 60 page collection contains 34 of the paintings I created between the months of June - October in five cities of Wisconsin and one in Illinois. Along with the reproductions you will see close up details, images from my travels, and a few stories behind some of the paintings. Beyond the practical and professional benefits of participating in plein air competitions, I also felt rewarded by the conversations I shared with new people I met. Many of whom were friendly residents where I was painting. I love the fact that painting outdoors attracts people to me. The stories that residents choose to share make me feel welcome and appreciated as an artist. It was a privilege to be a traveling artist during these months. I hope you enjoy this unique collection of paintings if purchased!
