Painted en plein air during the quick paint event (2hr) at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis, WI. This painting received the Grand Champion award for the quick paint. I was drawn to this view because of the stages of depth and story. I liked the "behind the scenes" setting inside one of the food trucks while still showcasing the spirit of state fair in the window. This is one of a few plein air paintings that incoporated human subjects. Towards the end of the process the employees came out to photograph the painting and share positive feedback along with a free plate of deep fried oreos!
 
Framed in an artist made Elm float frame with cherry splines. Ready to hang! Ships in plastic with a signed certificate of authenticity in a cardboard box.
