Private Drawing Class (One or Two Students Max)
4 - Three Hour Classes on Sundays 
Two options 9am - Noon OR 12:30 - 3:30pm *Must pick one time slot for all four classes. Time slots cannot be split up or combined. Select the time slot for all of your private classes.

Each time slot has a max of two available spots. You may have to share the class with another student you do not know if you register for one spot = $250 for one student. If you buy two spots for the same time slot you get $100 off = $400 total. A pair of two students must be paid together in one $400 payment for the discount to work.
 
About this class: For the student who is looking for a comprehensive foundation in observational drawing methods. In this month-long course the student will learn how to see and convey three-dimensional forms on a two-dimensional surface using the basic art elements and perspective. This class is designed for students with little or no prior drawing experience. Intermediate artists are also welcome to register. The methods learned can be applied to any 2D mediums. The emphasis of this class will be on learning how to see and draw what we see accurately. This class will provide the student with a reliable foundation to practice and build upon. 
 
We'll be using graphite and charcoal throughout this class on drawing paper up to 18" x 24". Materials will be provided during this class and we'll be working on easels I have in my studio. All student work will become property of the student. I hold the right to use photos and reproductions of the student and their work for promotional purposes. Students should plan to bring their own sketchbook for note taking and a flat portfolio able to transport their drawings. A simple cardboard and duct tape portfolio would work perfectly! Each student should be comfortable standing during the class. We will meet for each session in my public studio on the 3rd floor of The Arts Mill in Grafton, WI. 
 
No refunds if a student cancels a class within 24 hour notice of the time slot. If we need to cancel due to weather or an emergency the student will have the option to have a partial refund of $50 for each missed class OR they can opt to meet virtually for the same hours that day. It's the student's responsibility to coordinate the cancellation process. If I need to cancel a class due to illness or emergency a $62.50 refund will be issued to the student.
