This painting was made during the 2023 PleinAirTexas festival on a private ranch near Brady, TX.  I was drawn to interior shapes of this hunting truck at my hosts' hunting lodge. The bright and warm filtering of light on the second truck visible through the windows caught my eye. Cars and trucks have become an exciting motif for me to explore human narratives and filtering light through windows when painting outdoors. 
 
This painting is currently unvarnished (will be suitable for varnish if desired after April 2024). Will ship wrapped in plastic in a cardboard box.
