Wow, it feels like I haven't posted a Studio Session in years! Once I moved back to Wisconsin from Queen Creek, AZ I've been distracted by duties, plans, and activities here. It's hard to believe the summer is half over already!
I suppose now is a good time to share what's happening in my corner of the world considering bigger changes will happen soon! Here's a short recap of what's happened since moving home:
1) Started my first gallery relationship, with Re:Vision Gallery in Kenosha, WI and made my first sale with them!
2) Found a duplex apartment to rent starting in August in Lansing, MI with Megan! The first lease we'll share!
3) Received and accepted an offer to have a solo exhibition with the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County from 10/2017 - 12/2017!
I'm almost finished with the processing of forms for the assistantship I'll be receiving at Michigan State. In a few months I'll be moved into a new place, meeting a lot of new people, and learning how to be a successful teacher for intro drawing courses! Teaching is an interest and passion of mine that I have limited experience with and can't wait to expand. I'm hoping the inspiration I've found in my experiences from teachers and professors will translate in my lessons.
